There are plenty of stories for us to tell and as Marissa gets older, there will be even more. There is never a dull moment in our household and that's the way we like it!

Our Trip to Kirksville, MO

Over the weekend we headed out to visit my brother, Sean in Kirksville, MO. We knew it was going to be a quick visit, but the only time we could work it out with our schedule and Sean's. He is currently doing his first rotation in family medicine. Tyson and I both left work early on Thursday, headed home to finish some packing and then took off about 5:00. It was a 6 hour drive and we pulled into Sean's about 11:15. He had to work the next day, so we didn't stay up too late visiting. Friday we were on our own, but that was okay. It ended up raining the entire day, so we didn't do much but relax and nap :) It was much needed.

Sean got home from work at about 5:15 and we ate and then headed to the bowling alley. I have pictures from that, but are still on my camera. The kids had a ton of fun. Even Marissa got in on the action b/c her sisters were kind enough to let her bowl one of their balls each turn.

Saturday we hung out and then headed to the aquatic park in town. It was super hot, so that was the right place to be. Below are some pictures Sean took with his camera. Samantha and Hannah were having fun taking the pictures under water. There was also a big water slide there and Hannah was just tall enough to go down and touch in the pool. Once she figured that out, we didn't see her the rest of the time. She LOVED it!!

Marissa is so difficult sometimes. She was all excited to go and see Sean, but when we got there, she didn't want anything to do with him. So here is trying to get her to play.

Super cute picture. She doesn't like to have her picture taken either, so we usually have to trick her to get something!
During break the girls were being goofy!

She was not afraid of the water at all! Even fell a couple times where she went under water. Didn't slow her down any or make her afraid, which was good.

We had a great time. I wouldn't recommend moving to Kirksville as Sean would back me up on that one, but was good to go and visit. Now we will need to figure out a time to go and visit my other two brothers, which both are much longer trips :)
