For the past week or so, Hannah has been running a low grade fever off and on and struggling with a bad cough. Just when we think her fever is gone and it's okay for her to go back to school, I get a call at the end of the day to say her fever is back. So she did not go to school on Friday, Monday, and is home today with Tyson. Saturday night we thought her fever had broke, but by Sunday night it was back at 103. I gave her some ibuprofen and then waited about an hour debating on whether or not we should take her in or wait until the morning. So at about 10:45 pm we headed to FMT to get her checked out. The doctor did a great job with her and she did a good job telling him where it hurt. She pointed to her belly and then to her chest right below her heart. She ended up doing a UA and took a chest Xray, which showed pneumonia. Luckily it wasn't bad and she is not dehydrated, so they started her on an antibiotic and sent us home. Looking at her you would never think she was sick, but at night about 5:00 pm it hits her and she is wore out. I'm hoping the medicine kicks in soon, but she is doing fine. The picture above is Tyson and Hannah waiting in the ER for the nurse to bring in the first dose of her antibiotic. It was midnight at this point and we were all tired and just wanted to go home :) We ended up leaving about 1:00 am!
