Family visits

Over the weekend, we had family on Tyson's side come into town to visit. Amber and Joe flew in from Arizona, and Tiffany and Doug flew in from Maryland. They mainly came to visit Gpa Bob and it sounds like he was pretty excited to see them. Saturday after they finished their visit with Gpa, they came out to our place. The last time they were here, we hadn't done anything to the house, so they were anxious to see how it had changed. It was really hot that day, so we did sit inside to visit most of the afternoon until it cooled down outside. We had a house full that night for a cookout. It was great being together and just being able to relax!

Sunday after they got back from visiting Gpa, we headed over to the lakes to do some bar hopping. It wasn't as hot yesterday, so sitting outside was perfect with a sweatshirt or long sleeves. Or, if you are Tiffany, you just whip out a pair of socks from your purse to put on, lol. 

The two pictures below we took at one of the bars just goofing around. We laughed bc it could be one if those "circle what's different in these photos" that you find in a magazine. 

After this bar we went to the Emporium to a bar down on the water. As we were walking in, Joe spots some claw games and is convinced he is going to get an iPod. 

He was pretty determined, but needless to say he didn't get anything. We had such a good time visiting and people watching. Who knew it would be so entertaining on a Sunday night!? Below are some pictures we took there. 

Overall we had a great time and were sad to see them go. We did, however, miss having Rick, Trav, and Sommer there with us that night.
