What a Sweetheart!

I'm not sure about you guys, but for some reason, my girls think it is fun/cool to fill their pockets and book bag pockets full of playground rocks to bring home. Samantha did it when she was in PreK and Kindergarten, and now Hannah does it. At some point, Tyson must have told her to stop doing that b/c it makes her pockets and book bag dirty. Well, on Friday after school Tyson was giving Hannah and hug and felt that her coat pockets were full of rocks and started to re-iterate what he had told her before. She says, "Dad, they are for the driveway...remember we were going to put gravel down so it wasn't so muddy?" Now Tyson was feeling bad that he had even said anything. We thought that was pretty sweet of her to do that, thinking she was being a helper. We didn't tell her that she'd have to bring home a lot of rock to cover the driveway :)
